We are looking for a Video Editor to join our Fox News family in our Tel Aviv Bureau. As the Video Editor, you will be part of a collaborative team effort to provide highly creative and technically sound content across multiple platforms for Fox News Media. You will be challenged to think on your feet and deliver solutions to diverse requests in a fast-paced news environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on a variety of programs delivering high-end work, video and audio, under demanding deadlines for all of Fox News Media
Display initiative and focus to remain as productive as possible when working either collaboratively or independently
Turn raw video into news packages, create broadcast-quality pieces very quickly, and edit video elements which reporters will use during live reports
Collaborate with the London team as needed
Serve as the ‘last line of defense’ on all audio/video requirements so no technical or editorial mistakes occur on air, sharp eye for detail is essential
Share creative and technical input to provide a cohesive look for both Networks
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in non-linear editing with Adobe Premiere Pro
A passion for the news and knowledge of current events
Ability to work fast and efficiently on Adobe Premiere
A creative, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented nature
A team player attitude with the availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and overnights
A reel available for viewing
You must submit a link to your work in order to be considered
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
Knowledge of the Dalet media asset system
Demonstrated news editorial judgment and broadcast experience
Working knowledge of Sapphire/Boris plug-ins
